My twins were born early and my best memory was when one had to stay a week longer than the other and the second one got to come home Christmas eve! That was the best memory ever

This one year happened to be a very bad year money wise. My dad got hurt and ended up losing his job over it. My parents weren’t going to be able to get us anything for xmas. As much as it hurt them, they decided to get some help from our local church. They figured we’d get a couple small things, but at least it would be something and we’d make do. Mind you, we were just little kids back then, so we didn’t understand all that grown up stuff. Well xmas morning came and at out front door were huge boxes upon boxes of presents. I may have been little, but I’ll never forget the looks on everyone’s faces and how happy everyone was. It took hours to open all them gifts. What could’ve been a sad and quiet morning was one of the happiest holidays I’ll remember forever. Now that I am a parent myself, I never think twice about helping someone else. I wish everyone could have mornings like that. :)

My favorite holiday memory is getting a twenty dollar bill in a Christmas bank envelope from my Grandmother every Christmas. She passed away six years ago, and it’s still rough to go through the holidays with out her.

Ok, I’m not sure it was my best but definitely my most memorable one is when I was about 11 we had a play where I was supposed to be an elf for one thing elves are small and petite. Here I’am very tall I was about 8 and very tall and my mom made me an outfit out of felt! I think i even towered over Santa in the play..lol

  9. Jenny Ham says:

My best holiday memories were as a child when my grandparents would show up with lots of presents and snacks to spoil us. My grandma and I would make Christmas cookies together year after year it was so nice to have that one thing we always planned to do wonderful memories of my grandparents.
