♥Sample-snagging Techniques for you♥

It takes a lot of time, patience & filling out submission forms to get lots of samples! Do not be discouraged the first couple of months. It takes a LONG time for some freebies to arrive. The longest a freebie ever took was about nine months! So PLEASE be patient while you wait for your freebies to come. Once they start flowing in, soon enough it will be a TIDAL WAVE of them if you stay on top of them & look for new ones every day. The more active you are in your search for samples, the more samples you are going to encounter.

The best site to start with is Facebook. I have a facebook page that I update with freebies, giveaways & sweepstakes. You can also type in "freebies" "samples" & "free samples" into the search bar and you will get TONS of pages that update daily with new samples. Make sure you "Like" these pages and add them to a List so you can stay up to date. Now the BEST way to score lots of freebies is to add all of the freebie pages you can find on Facebook. These pages are constantly searching for the newest & biggest freebies all over the internet. It is important to like ALL of them because they all find different freebies at different times & timing is VERY important for freebies. Freebies generally come on a first come, first serve basis. So make sure you check your freebie pages often for updates otherwise you might be too late!

To get the best freebie pages on Facebook go to freebie pages [and ones you have already liked] & see which pages THEY like. I constantly Like new freebie pages all the time. Also, try adding some new friends that are into freebies. A lot of the time they will share what freebies they have applied for that day. Another important thing is to "Like" companies that you enjoy, but make sure it is their OFFICIAL Facebook page. A lot of people will create fan-based pages that look like the real company but are not. I notice this happens with make up companies quite often. Those fan based pages are never going to go a giveaway/sample opportunity, but the real company might!

Another fantastic site is Swagbucks. Swag Bucks is basically a search engine [like Google] but you earn "bucks" for using it. You score "bucks" every few searches through the website, watching videos or doing free surveys. You can then turn your Swag bucks in for things in their online store like electronics or gift cards. One of my favorite sites is Vocalpoint.com. You can sign up using your Facebook account and they give out a lot of full size products. Check the website & their Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/vocalpoint] every now & then, but usually they will e-mail you when new freebies come out.

Another untapped source of freebies is the Sunday paper. The freebie pages on Facebook will usually post when a coupon in the Sunday paper makes something free. I am very new to couponing myself and have only scored a few freebies this way. I also do not like that there is a chance I will be charged tax on my freebie! The good thing about using coupons in certain places it that they allow overages. Lets say you have a coupon for $3 off one Secret deodorant. If you find that deodorant for $2.50 at Walmart, they take that extra 50 cents and apply it towards the rest of your bill! Walmart is the one store for sure that does this. I believe Target might allow overages as well, but check your local store's coupon policy because they may differ from state to state & can be changed at any time without notice.
